Longo Brothers Fruit Markets Inc.is a family owned business which was started byTommy, Joe and Gus Longo in 1956. In 1962, the Longo brothers opened their second store on Woodbine Avenue. They had eight people working in the store which were all family members. The first location was no more than 2, 000 square feet. The first store was located on Yonge Street and Castlefield, in Toronto. Since then, the Longo family has been involved in every aspect of the business.
